Both approaches can be beneficial and used depending on the immigrant’s desires, but they can also present difficulties. This is why taking care of your mental health during the migration process is critical and adjusting to your new surroundings in your own time and manner.
While adjusting to a new environment can be difficult, immigrants need to remain optimistic during the transition period. It is also critical for immigrants to take gradual steps when learning about a new society and to move at a comfortable pace. Try to get out into the community and speak the language within your comfort zone. Try to seek out members of the dominant culture rather than just your own.
